Angie is currently a teacher for Bay City Ballet, Tampa Bay ’s Dance FX, and The Studio Dance Company.
While teaching is her passion, Angie continues to perform in several major productions throughout the year. Angie
received her early training in jazz, modern, tap, and lyrical with an emphasis in ballet technique, pointe, and partnering.
She is a former company member of the Springfield Ballet Company in Illinois and of the West Florida Ballet Company. She has
studied at many prestigious schools including Dance Arts Studio, Boston Ballet Summer Intensive, Lou Conte Dance Studio, and
Ruth Page Center for the Arts. Angie has studied under the direction of such acclaimed teachers and choreographers as: Birute Barodicaite, Mary Carpenter, Paul Cipponeri, Julie Guttas, Krenly Guzman, David Howard, Mark Anthony
Jelks, Grace Nanavatti, Pollyanna Ribeiro, Wilfredo Rivera, and Adam Sage. She has performed many lead roles
including: Snow Queen and Arabian in The Nutcracker, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Juliet in Romeo and
Juliet, and Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream. Angie shares the discipline and art form of dance in an
upbeat, encouraging environment. She is pursuing her degree in Psychology while continuing to teach
and choreograph in the community.
