Melanie began her Dance training at the age of four in Canada . She
and her family moved to Florida and later joined the Dance FX studio. She has trained in jazz, tap, hip
hop, lyrical, and ballet. She auditioned for the Award Winning Platinum Performers and was welcomed into
the group. She has traveled and competed at National Competitions in Las Vegas , Texas , and Gatlinburg.
Melanie has studied under some famous choreographers such as Barry Youngblood, Jerry rose, and Rolo Hendricks.
Melanie was awarded “Miss Teen Stars of Tomorrow” at Hoctors National Dance Competition for her solo.
While in Seminole High School she was co-captain of their Dance Team for two years and competed at the Florida State
Fair. She is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida . Melanie’s
goal is to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education so she can work with young students to see them be successful
and enjoy their education.
